Either servers are awful or the client is unstable, resulting in these disconnections.
No form of backfill would also pretty much result in this as one leaver causes a domino effect of others leaving.
Hopefully some improvements will be made overtime.
@XHelperZIt's not the server. The MM is atrocious. I had a game earlier where my team went up 16 to 3 within a few minutes and the entire other team quit. It was really obvious early on how bad they were. No movement, lack of any tactics and poor use of their guns.
When the MM is even it is extremely fun.
- @hayhor That's what I ran in to. My first two matches, the enemy team was mostly new accounts, and got destroyed quickly. Next couple matches were actually competitive, but then the last match, all but 1 enemy quit, and the remaining one just tried to hide when he respawned. That match was dragging on, so I ended up leaving. No idea if or when it ever finished
The two matches that were actually competitive though, were pretty dang fun for me. I was mostly using pistols for a challenge, but was productive and helped my team win 1 of the 2 matches. I'm hoping the MM for this mode will improve as data is collected, but only time will tell. Definitely hope they add join-in-progress though!
