First impression: Ok, G7 is OP

Played two matches, won 2 times with G7. I love this gun ALOT, but i think it's abit OP. :/ What do you guys think? Charged Rifle is quite good, better than Tripletake but it requires abit of skill...

The problem with p2020 is that you really can't afford to not have a long range weapon on the new map, so the only way to have a p2020 is to find that ultra-rare yellow hopup for flatline or 301.

As for snipers, the charged rifle is way more powerful than longbow ever was, especially on this map, where shooting 200+ m is common (hitscan owns).

G7 is as great as it has ever been, but it's definitely not the best choice for this map, so to rank snipers, i'd say it's like this now:

kraber>charged rifle >> longbow > G7 > TT

The yellow hopup 301/flatline should also go in there somewhere, but I have only had that once so far.

@Biochemikas The G7 is better than it was because it had a damage buff.

Doesn't change it's ranking though. It still has low bullet velocity and low damage/bullet - really hard to get knock downs at long range. Charge rifle shots are practically unavoidable, if you track well.
Don't get me wrong though, as I said, I personally have always loved the scout, but objectively it's definitely not top tier long range weapon and none of the pro's even pick it up.

  @Biochemikas I totally agree, I think we weren't necessarily saying it's a good long range weapon but its viable mid to close mid. I prefer to run it with short range optics.
  Haven't use the charge rifle yet so cant comment.
