Fix Error Code 0x8000002

Fix yet? The support chats are utterly useless.

Exiting out of my AutoHotKey Scripts fixed this issue.

please tell me there's a fix now? months later I try to play the game after updating and doing the same troubleshooting and same problem as before

Same BS happening to me. Don't have autohotkey, ds4 or any of the other programs listed. Went through every application and shut down everything but apex and get the same badware error. Uninstall and reinstall does nothing. Reinstalled EAC and still nothing. They trashed their own game. Have 4000 hours into the game by the way and after 16 hours troubleshooting this with no resolution. Came back about 5 months later yesterday and still no fix...... smh.

i have the exact same issue, precisely since todays update a few hours ago. played just fine yesterday night.

in my three hours of troubleshooting, i have tried almost everything besides a full windows reset, which i dont want to do.

any updates on this? i found loads of dead threads with users who seemingly stopped playing the game because they... cant.

try to uninstall daemon tools lite, it worked for me!

My Friend literally had to factory reset his labtop to get this error code to stop coming up . We played for so long together he works on a boat and has starlink fast internet we never had a problem until this recent update and tve worst part it Respawn isn’t even acknowledging it as a issue 

uninstalling daemon tools lite worked for me. feels bad having to choose between apex or LOTR BFME2 & Need for speed Most Wanted (og).

My guess for everyone is there is some file for some unrelated program somewhere on your computer that AntiCheat thinks you are a cheater. so annoying
