Fix skill based match making

Please fix skill based match making there shouldn’t be a reason why I’m going against level 500 people while I am only level 29. I’m not sure if this is even possible but I have a solution, make the levels of the players have something to do with who you go against so if I’m level 29 then I should go against people who are close to my level it would make the game so much more fun if I wasn’t going against people who are level 200 with 100 kills, I can’t win against people like that and I haven’t been able to get close to winning because of people like that

    @Samuel_Simons trust me, this is the biggest complaint people have had and it's still not fixed. I'm pretty sure this is the main driver of people leaving Apex.

    welcome to the forum.

    I agree that the SBMM needs to be fixed.

    But please keep in mind that level does not fully translate into skill. an example would be a level 20 account that is averaging 3-5 kills a game being matched with a level 400 account that has the same kill average. other factors are also factored in such as placement in matches etc.

    however a player that has played longer may have a bit more experience with the maps than a new player.

    with all that in mind one has to be aware of newly created alt account from players that have been playing for a long time and the new level 30 account my translate into a high skill account because of how they are playing.

    I do agree that a low level new player should probably never be matched with or against a player that has ranked as pred/master unless of course that new player is playing at that level and getting 5-10+ kills a game etc.

    @Samuel_Simons It's like asmodeous said, that and the fact that there's too many smurfs (fake low level accounts with high experienced players) for levels to be an accurate statistic for match making

    People do this on a daily to act like they are God's to the noobs kinda sad they just that bad at the game they g9tta make new accounts to beat others

    @Samuel_Simons Sometimes you will get put with level500s to help you. Saying that, being lvl500 means nothing.
    What annoys me when i get put with lower lvl players is the fact that they still think they know better!

    @HogynDrwg Same. I may be 500+ but I am not a good shot/movement god.
    This is my favourite game, so I enjoy playing it, but that doesn't mean I am good at it. 😁
