This game is still by far better than Fortnite, you'd be an idiot to think otherwise. This game needs to spread it\s merch line to game stores so Fortnite merch is taken off the shelves and into the garbage where it properly belongs, cause I ain't the only one sick of seeing it and tempted to put a mask on and destroy the Fortnite section.This game can do that, I know for sure it cans, but it needs something. More than me just promoting the hell out of this game. Something bigger to finish Fortnite for good. Something to get back at those (insert imagination here) for ripping a few mechanics straight from the game.*Customization needs improving, in a sense where there are hidden skins that aren't on the skin list, ranking those skins as mystical items, custom deathboxs for dying in style and make your enemies die of jealousy. lol(IDK)4 man Squads, now I'm not sure I haven't heard any confirmation about this. But this needs to happen. I LOVE ME SOME HIGH IMPACT BATTLES *Fixing the sound. The lag issue is minor compared to the long term affect sound breaking. I can agree on that. Although there are many more other fixes and optimisations they have to do, also let's not forget about future content, especially some nice skins that are worth the money, not some recolors most of the customisation currently.

I don't like Fortnite either, whenever you're shooting at someone, it starts being a city building simulator. Of course it's a higher skill cap gameplay, but seriously, that's just not as fun, for me at least.

Oh, yeah just noticed it... You're right, why should you desire another game to fail? I mean even if you don't like it, it's still good for competition, these games pushing out better quality content to race for playerbase.
Dunno, maybe he had some bad experience with Fortnite, i had similar feelings myself aswell regarding one or two games in my life that really deserved it.

Apex is the better game but will be surpassed by games like Fortnite that know what kids want.
Apex should give all players the ability to toggle in to 3rd person view anytime, so they can see their skins and customizations. What good is buying skins if you can't show it off?
Fortnite is no longer good for the competition as it can crush a new game before it has a chance to get off the ground. Fortnite developers only have to watch a new game in development and rip off the best mechanics and style of that game even before that game has a chance to launch. They probably have developers spying in every competitor's game forum and beta tests.
Games as a service do not have to wait years to make a sequel to ripoff their competition, they can do it in a matter of days or weeks!
Without a solo mode and no 3rd person view, Apex will not surpass Fortnite. They need to start ripping off Fortnite just like what Fortnite has done to them.

Maybe introduce a Legend that can build walls and platforms :-) . And give players a big hammer to harvest crafting materials from rocks and trees. LoL!

That's a good point about the "third person" element of fortnite. It leads to a lot more skin sales because you need to look at your character all game long. Might as well get something nice to look at. In apex skins make less of a difference to me because I can't see mine anyway. Weapon wraps are the only thing you really see.
Outside of that, they need better skins in general. FN has a lot of really awesome and fun skins that totally change the looks of your character. You wanna play as a tryhard elite agent? There's a skin for you. You wanna play as a goofy waiter at a burger shop? There's a skin for you. You wanna play as a sexy devil girl? There's a skin for that. You wanna play a halloween or christmas skin? You got it. You wanna play as a derpy looking fishman with a pirate hat for some odd reason? There's even a skin for you.
