FOV settings for xbox

I play on Xbox one S w a 55 inch display, I was wondering what other similar folks use for their FOV settings? I currently have it on 90 but I’m not sure it has been more helpful than the default setting.....thanks for the tips!

  • I play on one X, I'm running 85 on a 49 inch display. I'm not sure what you mean by more helpful though. Frame rate? More vision?

FOV isn't in issue. Your biggest problem is you're playing on a 55" TV which more than likely has a high input delay. My 55" Samsung had over 20ms input delay which not only affects the signal from your controller to the console then screen but affects what show up on your screen. For example on your 55inch screen you'll be running up a set up stairs and nearing the top, but on 24" gaming monitor with a 1ms delay you'd already up those stairs.

Yes it's mere seconds, but yes it makes a world of difference. Search youtube and you'll find plenty of side by side examples of this.

  • Agreed, I play on PC but I got an xbox to play with my buddies on different games and its a big difference. However the technology is starting to catch up, its just not quite at a reasonable price point. For example my TCL runs at a maximum of 12ms when in gaming mode, not ideal, but getting there. Hopefully that helps OP.
