Fuse is now a better Seer (Wallhack?)

There's a new strat going around recently in Reddit and twitter where you can take advantage of Fuse's scan ability with his ultimate. I've seen videos of people do this to scan the whole of streamer building in Fragment. The way you do it is to throw a grenade then hit that grenade with the ult. The ring of fire will have a huge circumference that can encircle a whole building giving you the scan ability. It's easier to do it if you have a Crypto on your team and hit the drone with the ult. 

Thoughts? Another wallhack ability? Should Respawn patch this trick?

    I mean, on paper this is very strong in Arenas. But Fuse was already annoying there 😛

    @Cheese9Man It will definitely be patched. They will probably limit the radius by altering the motherlode falling fragments' trajectory. I think they are using the game's physics engine, so making them "heavier" will probably solve the issue.

    I don't think it's a new bug, it has been like this from the beginning but it's not something that can be discovered easily. It did take many months for millions of players to discover it, so it's not a surprise that it got past QA.

    I read a few days ago someone mentioning Fuse having a wallhack and was wondering what they were talking about

    @Cheese9Man it's really insane if you can pull it off, at the same time, it's really hard to pull off it seems. I can see this getting patched.

    This is not terribly difficult to do.  It took me about 15 minutes to get it down pretty well, and I am not a mechanically gifted player.

    I've used the fuse ultimate to hit smaller buildings and it works like a wall hack and you can see people inside (no grenade needed).  This isn't new.

    The hitting the grenade with it and getting the really large ring I didn't know about though, that is pretty cool.

    it takes time and a bit of talent to pull it off.  I have no issues if they left it in.  Fuse's ultimate is pretty underwhelming to be honest so this makes it worthwhile for those with the skill and presence of mind to pull it off.

    It'll get nerfed naturally.

    In my opinion, if they left Seer's passive the way it is - then I cannot see them fixing this. And if they did...why? Why would you fix this and leave Seer's broken garbage passive ability? Why is it ok that anyone using Seer can have free unlimited wallhacks at the cost of nothing, but poor Fuse players get screwed?
