GAIDEN EVENT

The anime-themed event starts next week at the usual time and day. Unfortunately no trailer for this event. First time that a thematic event will come out without a trailer.

ARMED AND DANGEROUS LTM

Rack your shotguns and wipe down your scopes because Armed and Dangerous is back, where weapons are limited to snipers and shotguns, and loot overall is much harder to come by. Armed and Dangerous will be available from July 19th to August 2nd with World’s Edge, Olympus, and Storm Point as the map rotation.

*You can craft a Kraber or a Mastiff in the replicator.

GAIDEN FLASH EVENTS

*Two event trackers for the two week event.

Summon your inner hero and play your way through two unique weekly challenge tracks to unlock event-themed cosmetics.

July 19th to July 26th

Rewards include:
- Fuse’s Down Thunder Epic Skin *Full Metal Alchemist skin
- Bionic Buddy Gun Charm
- Epic 3030 “Cloudburst” Skin

July 26th to August 2nd

Rewards include:
- OK Holospray
- 1 Gaiden Event Pack
- 1 Apex Pack

GAIDEN EVENT-LIMITED ITEMS

Summon your inner hero with 40 adventurous event-limited cosmetics, including new Legendary skins for Revenant, Mirage, Octane and Wattson with complementary skins for the Flatline, Wingman, EVA-8 and Charge Rifle.

*Remember that these skins will be 50% off two seasons from now if you want to save up some crafting metals.

BANGALORE PRESTIGE SKIN

If you collect all 40 event items, you’ll unlock the newest Prestige skin, Bangalore’s “Apex Commander”! Prestige Skins are Mythic cosmetic Legend skins that each have 3 tiers (3 versions total of the Prestige Skin). Upon unlocking tier 1 of a Prestige Skin, a player will be able to complete challenges to unlock Tier 2 and Tier 3 at no additional cost. Players can continue to complete these challenges, once available, even after the end of the event. Once a Prestige Skin Tier’s challenge is completed a player will unlock that respective tier’s version of the Legend skin which can then be equipped. Players have the ability to equip any unlocked tier of a Prestige Skin once owned.

Gaiden Event Packs are available for a limited time during the Gaiden Event, but the items will be available in the standard Apex Pack pool of items after the event ends.
Gaiden Event Packs guarantee you one non-duplicate Gaiden Event item.
The new event will introduce 40 new cosmetic items around the Gaiden theme.
Gaiden items can be crafted with crafting metals. After two seasons, crafting metal costs of Gaiden Items may be reduced.
To preview/view what the new items are, players can go to the thematic event tab in-game

@Cheese9ManI'm definitely looking forward to Armed and Dangerous. That is the perfect mode for me to practice with two weapons classes that I am pretty terrible with, Lol.

I'm not familiar with the character references for this one, but that Revenant skin looks pretty dope. Personally, I don't really buy skins on games, but if I did, I would probably pick that one up (thought I might spend some crafting metals on it once it's discounted). The prestige skin for Bang also looks much better than the one for Bloodhound, in my opinion

@dSKyNafinchin I haven't watched Evangelion yet but I agree Rev looks the best out of these skins. Rev always has the best looking skins. I guess it's easy to model/design a robot skeleton. LOL.

And it seems that a lot of people missed this lore animated video for Seer. I was imagining Rev popping out behind Seer and stabbing him like Forge (RIP).

@Cheese9Man Another Prestige skin? Lmao i hoped they changed their mind about them 😞. But my suggestion is to not buy it, we'll get better legendary skins in the future anyway (just like it happened for Bloodhound, the BP skin is much better than the prestige one lol) 😉.

@Cheese9Man Very true. I don't even use Rev very often, but he has some of my favorite skins in the game. Caustic also has a bunch of skins that I really like, especially the clown-themed ones and the Jaeger skin, Lol.

Teaser trailer was posted on twitter but immediately deleted afterwards. My guess would be that they didn’t change Octane’s straw hat in this trailer over concerns of copyright.

Quick tip - the view you get of skins in the thematic event tab really sucks. Since the items are in the loot pool right away, you can get a much better look at them by looking at craftable items in the regular legend/weapon galleries.

Now for the Gaiden Event Respawn let us use the Vtuber assets for Octane, Mirange, and Bangalore, for content creation, now does anyone know if those are limited to specifically Apex, or if users are able to just use them for anything?
