Game is broken: Being killed instantly these days

No joke, I have observed it several times in the last few weeks: I am now being killed instantly more and more often. A simple ‘Rrrrt’ and I´m down. No matter what weapon they use: R-301, Flatl...

Yeah, just now.  Death recap.  3k badge, no data, no data, no data.  I didn't drop a shot... but them... mostly head shots.  Of course it is.   seems legit.  

I'ts not cheating.  It's poor match making.  This guy should never be in my lobby.  But, wiped again.  I exist as a KD pill for others.  That's it.

I laugh at people who boast about their massive KD.  Congratulations on being put in lobbies with people far worse than you. You are so tough.  Well done.

@RockDokRock I have to say I agree matchmaking is also a problem right now. At one time before season 20 my kdr was up to 0.9 something, now it stays around 0.17. Yet, last month they put me on a squad with ItzTimmy, and I was killed by Faide once, and have been in lobbies with Scrappy and Verhulst before. I am not even in the same league with those champion players and should never even see them in the game while I'm playing.

Like in the match with ItzTimmy he got 21 kills and I only got two, and that was only because he was gracious enough to keep reviving me every time I got knocked. In those cases I agree, it's not cheating, I just lost to better players.

However, situations such as the video in the thread 3 days ago where the guy posted getting killed by a rampage in only 1 hit thanks to aimbot, rapid fire, zero recoil, etc you can tell the difference. You don't die instantly in apex with one shot unless it's a special case like a sniper weapon. The situations like in that video are getting more and more prevalent.

    @AymCTLI still think this is just due to the time in the season. People finish their BP and take a break before the next chapter and I get that, that's reasonable. The hard core element remains and you just get thrown in with them and that's the way it is. I think the numbers just work against us. In all honesty I'm not really sure what can be done about that.

    Can't say I've played with anyone famous but I probably wouldn't know either as I don't pay attention to streamers or "Pros" (the names you mention mean nothing to me).

    I've played a few games in the new "season" yesterday and i found match making to be much better as (I would guess) the casuals are back and the pool of players to pick from is larger.  

    Does anyone know of where you can see published numbers on activity on apex? Does it typically go down toward the end of a BP as I suspect?
