GAME is fun BUT....

I honestly rarely experience lag or any Disconnects. I seldom get the first drop server lag for about 20 seconds (Maybe 1 in every 30 games) but last I heard the devs said they were aware of it and were digging in to the issue. Servers aren't terrible. 99% of my games are stable and I'm able to find a new match in just a few seconds so not sure how that makes for terrible servers and when it comes to unballanced gunplay the Wingman and Peacekeeper are mainly to blame, the R-99 may have a little bit of blame put on to it too in all honesty as it can ruin somebody with gold shields pretty quickly. The Triple Take can be a garaunteed hit but those hits mean nothing when you're only hitting for 14-17 damage at long range due to the spread. When you have the choke and eliminate the spread your shots are harder to hit but the reward is more damage which is the entire point of the weapon really. As for midrange, you can do a hell of alot of damage with it as the spread doesn't matter much BUT if somebody getting outgunned with a Triple Take at close/Medium range then they themselves are mainly to blame for that.

Had this problem

What truly worked for me (no crash mid-game the past 2 days playing 3+ hours per day) was the following:

1. Uninstall APEX

2. Uninstall Origin Client

DONE!

Lol, Ok kidding! :P But i did uninstall Apex & Origins. Next is:

3. Clean computer cache and registry (Ccleaner is your friend here) THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT

4. Once all traces of Origin and Apex are gone from your computer, Download Latest version of Origin

5. Reinstall Origin Client & APEX

So as the title says it's a fun game but in totality it's utter garbage and here's why

• Terrible servers
• = not always but it happends.
• Super laggy
• = not very often but it happends like in all other online games aswell.
• Client side shots
• = meaning?
• Unbalanced gunplay
• = think thats a part of the game and how its ment to be?
• Forced "team play"
• = it´s an team play made game? (i´ve read about many wanting solo mode, and for those poor fellas i´ll hope they´ll get it)
• Crappy audio
• = sounddirection can be a bit iffy at some times but works very well most of the time.
• Unbalanced hit boxes
• = to this i have to agree, its a shooter. all legends should have equal terms beeing hit or not.
• No solo q
• = same as forced team play?
• Nobody uses comms
• = yes they do, sometime to much so i have to mute them xD
• No matchmaking
• = hope it will come, it would be a great thing.
• No battle pass
• = soon to come aswell.
• No incentive after 100
• = some sort of bonus should be given lika an Apex box every 5th ding after 100. i agree, rewards is necessary in online games.
• Hit reg is iffy at best
• = can´t tell, im no pro aimer and hit best with spitfire 😉
• Clarity on console is underwhelming
• = don´t own a console.
• Muzzle flash on guns makes headshots with iron sights pretty much a guess job
• = true.
• Peacekeeper is stupidly op
• = it´s not, if you miss 1 shot your dead most of the times against r99 or eva-8 ish.
• Triple take pretty much guarantees a hit if your aim is close laterally and on vertically
• = actually a somewhat nice semi shottie for cqc.
• Map is stale
• = i like it.
• Half the lobby dies in first 2 min
• = thats a good thing? right?
• Netcode is a$$
• = i agree to disagree.
• Devs are unresponsive
• = can´t ansver for them, my guess is they are busy working on improvements.
• Xim users not blocked
• = still not on console, cant help here.
• Spam slide exploit dumb
• = havent seen one using it, is it a big problem?
• Peacekeeper exploit not fixed
• = same there, nothing i see people do, think i never seen one doing it.
• Wingman still too common for it's op level
• = only OP if your good at aiming. and if your good at aiming all guns becomes OP.
• Only 5-6 usable guns
• = think its ment to be this way with low mid high desireable weapons?
• More I'll remember later

• Hit reg is iffy at best - Quite the opposite, hit reg is too accurate, we are waiting for them to trim off some of the hitbox on the bigger characters
• Clarity on console is underwhelming - Maybe don't buy a console, they clearly can't compete with good gaming PC's
• Muzzle flash on guns makes headshots with iron sights pretty much a guess job - Iron sights always suck, they are much a bigger problem then the flash
• Peacekeeper is stupidly op - No it's not, they nerfed it, Eva is better, and shotguns have their place in their game, the range determines the efficiency of any weapon type
• Triple take pretty much guarantees a hit if your aim is close laterally and on vertically - 1 hit is not enough if you care about damage
• Map is stale - No it's not, map is gorgeous, i keep discovering new favorite places to jump
• Half the lobby dies in first 2 min - It's players fault they don't monitor where others land
• Netcode is a$$ - Name one single battle royale with a perfcet netcode, or better yet, make one better yourself
• Devs are unresponsive - they have better things to do then talk all day, they even responded to the BattlePass hype
• Xim users not blocked - As a PC user i really can't sympathize with console users, why would you want to play a shooter with a controller in the first place
• Spam slide exploit dumb - I'm guessing just like bunny hopping it will get fixed
• Peacekeeper exploit not fixed - It takes time to fix all exploits but they will do it
• Wingman still too common for it's op level - It's a high risk high reward weapon, people who make it seem so OP don't know the god skill required to properly aim it
• Only 5-6 usable guns - you can win with a lot of guns but there will always be around 5-6 guns more versatile then the rest

• Not that terrible considering the huge influx of players since launch. It takes time to upgrade the server capacity or agree new 'long term' contract with the likes of Amazon or other providers.. most likely they have a huge 'short term' agreement to cope with the influx of players, and are negotiating (or building themselves) additional server capacity..all in good time.

• This ties into your first point, I guess it depends on regions, the server tickrate definitely needs improvement, but, again, all in good time.

• 100% agree, too many times I've taken damage even though I know I was behind a corner, sometimes it's worse than others, Client-side shots should resolve this difference in Player latency...

• I thought the devs said they specifically wanted some guns to be more powerful than others?

• Well, it is a team game..but I get the frustration of randoms, sometimes they really suck..other times they carry like crazy..depends on the day..

• Compared to PUBG & Fortnite, this is the only game of these 3 where picking a character affects your gameplay. The game, as a result, was built around TeamPlay, everything from the Respawn locations to the buildings, hills & cliffs around the respawn locations...a lot of thought & design went into making this map to be teamplay focused. Don't get me wrong, I want solo play, but with toned down Legends, as some would be downright OP in Solo, IMO. Also, do you really want Solo games where 90% of all Players are Wraith?

• Sure it does have very crappy audio at times, generally it isn't too bad, and I have seen improvements regarding this, since launch.

• They already said they were working on this (can't wait to play Caustic again...woohoo!)

• With a ping system this good I have never felt the need for it, if I don't feel like speaking to randoms in a couple of games...But the only thing missing for me would be a ping to inform your teammates that you have 300 Heavy Ammo & only a Wingman..

• Totally agree...some kind of ranking system or hidden MMR needs to be put in place ASAP, nothing worse than fighting your way through numerous teams, only to meet the last team, die, and realise he's a +5k kills wannabe Twitch Streamer.

• Agreed, but I am sure they will fill this void soon, with something / but I will say what I told another on these forums, if you really want a good sense of progression, play the Witcher 3 or something..

• Nope...it's strong, VERY strong, but not OP..too many times I see players rush into an enemy with a Peacekeeper, fighting them at point-blank range and wonder why they died..stupid....as for me, whenever I hear a PK in the distance, I deliberately keep my distance so that my AR's are more effective than his PK..which forces him to (choke-shoot) but then his rounds-per-minute is greatly reduced.

• Sorry, when you say Laterally, what do you mean? Horizontally?

• I disagree...the map has enough variety and is large enough to keep things interesting for at least another month for me..but I can understand where you're coming from..if you've been playing every-single-day

• Why is this a problem? As Bangalore says in-game when First Blood is drawn.. "First Blood....RnG's always go first"..This is simply how BR games work, and could only be resolved if the map was 4x as big...but then people would complain about that.

• Completely untrue. I have worked with all types of developers and a lot of the time you want to say something but can't, so things go unresponded and the public thinks they are being ignored. But EVERYTHING is read..

• I have no idea why it hasn't been fixed yet..maybe the issue runs deeper (low-level code), so can only be implemented in a BIG patch update rather than a hotfix.

• Yeah..it still got issues, too way too powerful IMO, for what it is. The RoF is too much.
• Only 5-6 usable guns
• These are the ones I see as 'usable': R301/R99/EVA8/Wingman/Peacekeeper/Spitfire/Hemlok/Flatline/Triple Take/Havoc/Devotion/Prowler/Kraber/Mastiff... I count 12 in my 'arsenal of APEX weaponry'. And before you respond, I make all of these usable & they help me win games.

Maybe you should not have grinded the game like an autist especially when devs haven't announced any date for a the first battle pass and for the first big fixing patch ? 

Since @Payne-TK already demolished the post, I won't do step-by-step answers.

I just want to say I have nothing personal against you, maybe you save children from starvation when you're not playing, but people like you in gaming communities with this level of whining, crying and complaining is the problem, and is generally a result of having life just too easy, everything just there in front for cheap, for free, so even though we live the easiest lives in 21st century, even when you get free games to play for your pleasure, you can take it or leave it, you have the nerve to complain. There is actually no issue - your expectations simply do not meet the reality of the state of the game right now. Do not be spoilt. If you don't like it, don't play it. Only 10% of your points are valid, but still unreasonable given the game is 1 month old and dealing with the inflow of 50M players.

Compare this to PUBG not having even fixed physics after a year of release that you had to pay for. Point is, no matter how good, fun, fantastic the game (or anything in life) is, there will always be some people who will complain and be unhappy BECAUSE THEY ARE THEMSELVES UNHAPPY. Nothing to do with the game mate, all in the attitude.

Now, if we don't see any fixes, attention and response from Respawn in the months to come, then we can flag some things up. So far they have addressed the feedback and are working on it.
