@damsonwhufndthis Might be a difference in regions or systems? The Lstar is rarely used outside of close-range in my lobbies and I'm playing on the PS4 in the U.S.
I've heard people say it's pretty beastly at range since it has no bullet drop off but nobody uses it that way possibly because of the ammo consumption? Maybe the size of the bullets make them easy to see and therefore avoid? Dunno since nobody uses it at range against me.
Back on topic the Rampage is surprisingly better than the Spitfire. Another gun that doesn't need to reload until you drop your target and the low rate of fire/recoil typically leads to more shots landing. It's a popular choice for weaker players that lets them compete up to mid-range. Again this applies to the competition I see on PS4.
@heme725so ur saying just because its close range it means you can't use it long range? I'Ve seen many people blast me or someone else with R99 long range

Let me be clear, I started this to let EA know how OP the rampage is and not how irrelevant the L-Star is. In general I enjoy playing the game, I could, on the other hand, complain about all the things, in my opinion, are "wrong" with it, but for this threads sake I will merely rebutt replies to my comments.

Sorry to derail the thread since this is supposed to be about the obnoxious Rampage.
I have zero issue with Rampage. I wish people would stop wanting to nerf nerf nerf everything they have a problem with. Adapt. It has a distinctive sound - you know when one is nearby.
I don't really care for it myself as I've lost too many close range 1 v 1s with it and other weapons are more versatile/viable (in my opinion) but if people want to rock the rampage and are good at it, let them. Adapt.
I always find it bizarre when people complain about stuff like this. "It's too common", "it's too OP"... .you're aware you can pick it up too if you feel that way right?
