The L-star is a joke... a bad one even. It is much worse when fully extended than it was when it was so bad that it was not used.
When I see someone shooting at me with an L-Star, it can now be completely ignored.
@Donidon you're telling me a weapon that doesnt need to reloaded, has a good firerate, only get better with more attachments, has a large magazine capacity, is excellent in close-range dps and decent at mid range, has a large projectile so its hard to avoid and easy to get headshots with???
if i see an lstar in someones hands i know i can expect an unrelenting wave of dps if im up close and should probably keep my distance so i dont get instantly lasered. you would you apprach someone holding a devo in CQC?? you wouldnt the same can be said for the lstar, i used to think it was junk until i started using it more, you're sleeping on it

Obviously you haven't. That's why it's pointless to talk to you about it.... what you write was true in Season 10, but not in Season 11 anymore.
I think the Rampage is fine. Especially since it really needs the thermal grenade.
But buff guns, if you feel the Rampage is OP. Sick of nerfing, it's made the game ridiculous. Why are you making a gun game when the bullets do as much damage as a slap?
You might as well make a slappy fight game. Splatoon II showed it cam be done. Or do people need to be fooled into being 'serious' when the damage and weapons in the game aren't serious at all in how they work?
- @Donidon yeah even with the nerfs its still strong. losing one point of dmg isnt a big deal with its high dps, the projectiles nerf feels th same as it was before, they didnt touch its hip fire, effective range and recoil. you simply "use" the Lstar, its a different beast to those who are "mastering" the Lstar
I don't think the rampage is too bad tbh...if I was to request a nerf for it though it'd be to the headshot multiplier as that damage is just bonkers.
As for this whole "The L-Star is a joke" tangent....if you use it extensively you'll realise its really not, the thing melts if you can control it.
Is it top tier? No. Is it trash? Definitely not.
