Ghost Bullets/See Numbers but No Damage

Title explains it all...  I'm getting tired of seeing numbers but no damage is done.  It's feels literally pointless to play.  I hit a player past 100 after breaking their shield, yet they will not die!  This has been a complaint of mine several times.  I'm adding up the numbers but they aren't adding up in the game.  Why is it that I see Viss, Kraftyy, and other streamers having the same issues?!  They hit their targets, they do over the needed damage, yet the targets survives?  This is...  Wow, mind blowing that this is still going on.

I'm getting tired of the game saying, "You hit the target," per numbers, yet I doesn't really hit the target...

Edit being made 12:53 PM est - Technically these aren't referred to as, "Ghost Bullets," because they, "supposedly hit the target," but they do not.  It's the player's side of the game registering the bullet hits, but it's the server side that isn't picking them up.  So in a sense these, "bullet hits," are still considered to be, "Ghost Bullets," but with falsified numbers.
