Here we go again. I left Halo years ago because "charge" and "pound" and all the idiotic motion mechanics that twisted the game into something unrecognizable. Now we want to do the same thing in a game where PC players macro the crap out of the not inconsiderable motion mechanics that we already have? You want to make that even worse? The game isn't already fast enough for you? Not satisfied until enemies are literally blurring across your screen and the low tick-rate servers actually melt down?
And it's great if you would like this, but don't let's pretend that it would somehow magically bring hundreds of thousands of players back to the game. They left because of mixed lobbies, pc controller users, incomprehensible ranking systems, and the army of cheaters who run this game. You really believe that dash is all they need to make things feel right again??????
Literally no issues with tic rate or ping on my end. 15-20ms ping, smooth 235fps, accurate hit regs, beautiful graphics, ZERO cheaters lately (I can easily play in the evenings after work and hit Diamond solo queuing), etc etc… don’t blame your crappy internet, crappy console, CRT tv setup on EA. The lobbies are fair, ranked is a fun grind, and I have 4 kids that each have their own gaming PCs and still love the game after 2 years. There is nothing wrong with this game from the perspective of people that don’t fall asleep listening to Thordan Smash or Watson streams like you probably do. A dash for everyone, even if it was a little weaker than Ash’s, would make sense because all of the legends have hip jets, and it would bring back some of what people LOVED about Titanfall. You’re just wrong.
Side note: you can’t tell me hip jet trails wouldn’t be something Alex players wouldn’t love. They need more ranked rewards anyway.

The hundreds and even thousands of complaints of server issues, lag and countless issues surrounding 20 tik rate servers must be all obsolete, lies, made up, or bogus because you yourself, don't have an issue. Wow, who knew, all it takes for the player base to sore as you put it... is just to add a dash. I bet the Devs and EA feel pretty dumb right about now heh.
Well, all I can say is that we must be playing different games and one of us ended up on this forum by mistake.
Look, I'm not here to tell anyone how this game should be played or what mechanics the devs should or shouldn't embrace. All I can say is what I said earlier. I've been down this road before. Sure, some players would like it, some wouldn't, and a lot of them I'm sure wouldn't care one way or the other. I guess I've just had my fill of change after this season and the last. Maybe if you'd run this up the pole after a good season update then you would have found me more receptive. Maybe not. Who can say?
Don't know who Thordan Smash is. I know who Watson is, but I don't watch streamers or rely on anyone else for my opinions. Perfectly capable of forming them on my own as I'm over the age of 30.
I would be curious to hear more on the subject of "what people loved about Titanfall" as I never played it. But I've only heard good things, so I'm all for borrowing from it if there's something worthwhile to be borrowed.
