Gold Barrels Still a Thing?

@Lord_Scorpion34 Just like @Cheese9Man said. The reason given in patch notes was that muzzle flash was fixed to the degree that gold barrels are no longer necessary so they just switched it up. That and we all know the loot pool just wouldn’t allow it.

@Cheese9Man , @Koochi-Q 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾if they had made them actual silencers they could've still used them 🙄. And I can still see muzzle flash. What do they mean it was fixed?

@Lord_Scorpion34 There’s obviously still muzzle flash, but I don’t know if you played Apex since beginning? I think you did. In beginning muzzle flash was so ridiculous that it enveloped your whole center screen xD. Especially on the spitfire & R99. They kept tweaking and in S5 or 6 they got it right that it wasn’t that severe anymore that you saw more muzzle flash than the target.

A gun without muzzle flash isn’t a gun unless you play a good sci-fi like halo xD

@Lord_Scorpion34 No Apex doesnt need silencers. Part of what makes Apex apex is the ability to figure out where people are shooting from. We dont need this turning into warzone with people hiding sniping.

@Koochi-Q I started late S2, like 2 weeks before the season ended, so it wasn't ever that bad for me. But I mean this game is pretty sci-fi already lol. We're on various planets & have talking robots lol.

@hayhor I wouldn't mind having that element added. You also have the damage arrows plus there's plenty of hide & snipers now lol. And the silencer wouldn't completely make shots silent on every gun. Maybe only take them down a few dB.
