My account was reset due to cross progression
I have played Apex on PS5 for a couple years now. I recently bought a PC and wanted to play on that, so I linked my steam account to my EA account (I only have one EA account, and it is definitely the correct one). I opened Apex through steam and had no progress. I then opened Apex on my PS5 and my progress was reset there too.
I started a support case and the agent said that for some reason my progress was reset due to cross progression. He was as confused as I was. It's been 3 days, and I have checked both platforms every day in case it was just a delay but there is nothing.
The agent basically admitted that this is EAs fault, do I get any compensation for this? I spent a lot of time and money on that account. I would like to play Apex (or any EA game) again but I will not unless I get something back.
Has this happened to anyone else?
