Gold ranked is so wierd
Random teammates skill level is worse than pubs but enemy skill level is greater than pubs. Don't you just love this game!

@Marge010 Well I made it up into Diamond IV playing with nothing but randoms. Gold is not that difficult IMO. It gets hard in Platinum. That said, what guns are you using? What legends?
