I agree... I also feel the real culprit here isn't controllers on PC... rather cheat devices, scripts et cetera. That beyond human ability you are talking about is not the built in aim assist which needs to be there for a roller that is spring loaded. Again the beyond human ability you are seeing is more than not - cheaters/hackers. There is just too many of them now. The new generations and their lack of integrity, and shame have shifted the entire gaming industry into something that is doomed as time goes on.

Eventually the competitive scene will die off... we need more focus on PVE and campaign games now. Cheating and hacking is just taken over.

Could not agree more. I'm always astounded at how pc mnk players are so quick to demonize controller aim assist when their platform is a sewer of actual cheating. Why would any pc player who got killed in a 0.4 second one-clip assume that it was because of aim assist and not aim bot?
And your prognosis about the imminent death of competitive multiplayer gaming is also on target. How can any multiplayer game survive without becoming a circus if it has to rely on player integrity in order to purport to have game integrity?
