Great day of “smart” teammates
Another day where my squad mates land in a spot where one or more squads have already landed and begun looting already. Leaving me then to try and run and normally I’m the first one dead.

I play alone in ranked. You should too until you are plat.
- @DaDeDimson If I'm not jump master I pay attention to the area we are going to. If we are going to be late I simply break off and ping another location. I say we are going to be late there is no way I'm going there.
Typically the other teammate follows me, that is typically enough for the jump master to abandon their plans and follow. If I see a plat 4 and a gold 4 duo that hot drop with 3 other teams I simply break off and land somewhere else.
I just leave too. I've had enough of teammates landing late with 3 squads, insta dying, and leave me to 1v9. It's simply not any fun. And if I break off and ping somewhere safe, they still go to the jm's spot anyway and insta die.

- @lnxtvv If I hear a kid on the mic I often just leave on the stats screen, can't even bother.
- @KelRiever Playing alone has been very annoying for me so far this season. I really don't understand what's so had for people to play as a team in a TEAM GAME! Especially in ranked. If you want to do that silly separating from the team & dying in pubs fine but it annoys me when people do it in ranked.
Had a LL tonight push a squad solo get downed then yell it was their controller lol. Yeah sure. Or maybe don't push into a 3 squad fight by yourself? @Lord_Scorpion34 yesterday I had an Octane who rushed into a squad. And guess? Yeah he died.
I also had a Crypto teammate. You know that location on Olympus between the Turbine and Hammond Labs? Yeah that one. We were on the ground floor or whatever, we fought a squad, and it was a miracle we even survived. My teammates were downed and I was left in a 2v1 situation. And all I could shoot with was the Triple Take in close-quarters. I managed to kill them both but oh boi, I was left with literally like a pixel of health.
Anyway, I rez my teammates, and... guess what the Octane does? He ziplines up the building alone, and surprise, he found another squad. He did not even bother to wait for Crypto to scan the area, he just went there. And we couldn't do much either because we were not able to fully heal and/or recharge the shields after the previous battle.
If that Octane player had any sense, he would have waited for Crypto to scan the area first, and after realizing another squad was above us, he would have proposed to run back to the Turbine, or you know, anywhere but up there.
But no, he HAD to go up there. He went there so fast that I legit did not realize it until he was downed.
You know, it feels amazing when you are the one who carries the squad and saves the day... but sometimes I just regret it. This is sad because I LOVE Octane, and I hate it when people think they can just solo rush a squad and stim away that easily if things get bad.
