a friend of mine have this videocard with intel i7 gen 7 and 16gb's ram. and when this update appear the game run like potato, now i have to play with randoms ☹️
@JMUTowleei found the problem, it was the RAM's xD
for some reason his pc starting windows very slow, * SLOW! and besides apex fps i test it replacing his mem with my mems and whoooosh, start windows in 5 seg and apex running 100% ok.
sad, now he need to save money xD (for buy new ram's and pay me)
@DaAceXD 1. desktop 2. settings is low (2gb), shadows and lights off/low, effects and ragroll high 3. well duh ovbiously plugged in videocard xD 4. yes reinstalled with the last version. 5. the CPU and GPU temperature is equal, 60ºC both
10 series gpus start to down throttle GPU boost 3.0 at 60C.
I adjusted my fan curve for a max temp of 59C so i can hard lock at 2038GHZ at all times. (GTX 1070)
My 4th gen Intel CPU starts to down throttle the turbo clocks at 72C.
for GTX 1050 u going to need to modify video config files imo. Without modded files my GTX 1070 dips into the 70's, with modded files can hard lock at 100FPS with no dips ever.
I only adjust the LOD setting from 1.0 to 0.1. Helps a ton, tell your friend to do this.
I'm running this game in 1080P with TSAA and everything on high except for the sun shadow details. I usually range anywhere between 48 and 76FPS with those settings. You may want to check the Nvidia Control Panel and set power options for high performance and also make sure you don't have any redundant AA or Ansiotropic Filtering settings turned on there.
