@KyldenarI finally loaded back in to Destiny 2 the other day, and I can't use my Witherhoard ☹️
I need to get back into that game, I just have too many other ones that I'm currently playing, so I don't have enough time to really get back into it. Love the game though! I usually stayed away from the PvP mode, and mostly played the PvE one where you can take the portal to the other side to try to eliminate people from the other team and heal their boss (can't remember what it was called).
@hayhor I definitely prefer Gun Run, but I still had some fun on Control. Not so much when I was solo, but when my buddies hopped on, we had a blast for a few matches
@dSKyNafinchin Why not? Witherhoard is life. I don't recall it being locked from bugs right now (Telesto is behaving for once).
That and my Auto-loading Holster/Drop Mag Gnawing Hunger is why I rarely ever have to reload and when I do it's super fast. They are my babies.

- @Kyldenar Seriously?! I tried to equip it, but it was shaded out, so I stuck it in the vault. I'll definitely be looking back into that!! It's probably my favorite weapon for PvE, Lmao. I know it's cheap-ish, but good lord is it fun!! Can't remember if I got the Gnawing Hunger or not. I haven't been active on there in a good year or so. I always loved using the Hard Light.. love that thing
@dSKyNafinchin Yeah that's kinda weird. I haven't played in some weeks now, but my WH was working fine.
As for control - I have to agree to some degree with the opening thesis here. I'm pretty much done with my season, but was happily queuing for gun run any at the end of the week. With no progression I'm trying to earn, I've only popped on for one session to play Control so far. I do still like it, but I wonder if perhaps it's simply because it is a game mode with plenty of gunfights and a respawn mechanic.Despite its flaws, I guess I found Gun Run to be a much more playable mode for me than Control.
- @dSKyNafinchin Did you have another Exotic Weapon equipped in the Energy or Heavy Slot? You can only have one Exotic Weapon and one Exotic Armor equipped at once.
Otherwise I would always have Witherhoard, Hard Light, and Thunderloard equipped for guns, and Knucklehead Radar, Liar's Handshake, Sixth Coyote, and Stomp33s for armor.- @Kyldenar I completely forgot about that. I think I have an exotic helmet equipped. I'll check that next time I get on, so I can pull my baby back out of the vault. I promise I have a brain!
@pandareno1999 That's one reason I really hope we eventually have a permanent, rotating LTM playlist. I enjoy several of them, especially Gun Run and Control, but I hate feeling like I have to grind nothing but that mode for an entire week, since I have no idea when it will return. I just want to be able to leisurely stroll into them when I want a break from BR, but still want to play Apex. I love the infinite ammo, shield regen and no looting, from time to time

As much as I love that gun, for some reason I still find myself using my surplus / adrenaline junkie Arc Logic more - that thing is an absolute crit laser beam, it's especially good with Arc 3.0. It's worth farming imo.edit: Just realized you were talking about pvp, never mind then. I also prefer Gnawing Hunger, but I use zen moment / kill clip, it's great.
