@NN-LeToothi dont think its all hackers what ppl perceive to be cheaters.
The amount of complaints amplified with the last 2 seasons and it very much looks like one of the reasons is somewhat untested changes to the netcode and extremely poor servers. the amount of noreg is through the roof (also reported by quite some players in other posts all around the world). Also Players stop midmovement at times posing as sitting duck targets (no warp, just frozen ), never happend before S19 and i strongly believe thats the server not updating the players position but the player still moving on his screen. when the prediction then catches up it looks to you you got beamed by a hacker in no time but in reality the server didnt update your position to the enemy and for him you were just a super simple bot target.
In any case ... Respawn better acts now, they lost a hundred thousand players in peak last month, and another 100K this month due to that and other stuff they somehow wont address (and thats only steam players ... god knows how many playing on EA directly have finished playing the game)

@reconzero Steam player count has dropped rapidly over the past month.  It hasn't been this low since late 2021, too.  Honestly this is the reason why.  You just can't enjoy yourself much if you are average and not cheating and especially if you are solo queuing.

Smurfs and cheaters just expose the shortcoming of the matchmaking more.  It already thinks I can carry my random teammates of noobs past 3 stacks after I've been melted instantly and gotten about 3 kills in my last 10 matches, so just throw smurfs into the mix where MM thinks that these high level players or cheaters are bots and you get Apex right now.  I can barely win a 1v1 most of the time, let alone a 1v3.  Absolutely absurd!

@reconzeroi good player smurf or a cheater would not play like dog "s***" when he is on my team only to beam me pixel perfect in the next match ...
I encountered the sudden freeze enough times this season to be sure they messed up the netcode bigtime due to changes done in s20/s21.
Would fit perfectly into all thing weird with the netcode , like the still unfixed invisibility at times, where a whole team can walk over you without noticing

@r1ggedgameI've seen a lot more things I think are netcode related this season. Dying around corners, dying when I see/hear 2 bullets and my death summary says I got hit with 9, dying when we both shoot each other at the exact same time and I didn't miss and sometimes with a shield advantage, enemies that are able to weave in between my shots like they are in the matrix, enemies moving at warp speed (not even Octanes or Bangalores) when I'm moving like I'm stuck in mud.

I'm so glad to hear it's not just me! I've been noticing the same situations which becomes frustrating and I contemplating quitting. It just seems like the game is completely unbalanced but it seems to be bigger than balance issues.
