When you reach lvl 500 the cap and you still think that all the time you spent and the money you will get your heirloom .... and you don't. Hey EA why don't you reward what players you still have. I'm tired of seeing 2 grey, one blue or 2 blue, 1 grey. I'm really tired of this game and the drop.

If you completed the BP of every season, that's 76 packs up to S6. So you need 224 packs. That's $224. If and only if you spent around $200 only on buying normal Apex packs(not the event packs), you are probably off by only a few packs.
Plus quests give you 9 packs. So you probably need like 15 packs.
Since you want the heirloom so badly, you shell out your wallet for a chance to get the heirloom. That's gambling in a nutshell.
