What is an heirloom?
Heirlooms are the rarest and most valuable cosmetics in Apex Legends.
An heirloom is a Legend-specific melee weapon that comes with an Heirloom rarity Banner Pose and Voice line when unlocked. These melee weapons are cosmetic only and have unique animations.
How do you get heirlooms?
Heirlooms are obtained by:
- Crafting one of your choice in the store for 150 Heirloom Shards
- Purchasing all 24 event-exclusive cosmetics in a Collection Event to get the heirloom on display for no additional cost
How do you get heirloom shards?
Every time you open an Apex Pack, you have an <1% chance of getting a bonus pack which will draw 150 Heirloom Shards, enough to craft an heirloom of your choice. You are guaranteed to get heirloom shards every 500 Apex Packs. This counter resets when you get heirloom shards.
I have opened 500+ Apex Packs and have not received my Heirloom Shards. What do I do?
If you are completely certain you have opened 500 or more Apex Packs and have not received your shards, your best bet would be to contact EA and tell them about what happened. You may have to wait a long while for a response depending on how much mail they are receiving at the time.
