vokelpo1 I've seen a few issues involving the EAC, (and in most cases), repairing the game's files solves the issue.
Here's how to repair the game's files within the EA App, Steam, and Epic Games:
EA App:
- Go to your game's library
- Click on the 3 dots in the top right of Apex Legends
- Click on "repair"
Steam:
- Go to your game's library
- Right click on Apex Legends
- Click on "properties"
- Click on "installed files"
- Click on "verify integrity of game files"
Epic Games:
- Go to your game's library
- Right Click on Apex Legends
- Click on "manage"
- Click on "verify files"
Note: If you have the game installed through the EA App, (but are launching it through Epic Games), you would need to repair the game's files through the EA App.
A few more things to note:
- If you are playing the game on Linux, Apex Legends will not run.
- If you are running programs, (such as reWASD, DS4Windows, etc.), these programs must be closed in order for Apex Legends to be allowed to run.
- If you haven't already, please update Windows, system drivers, etc.
- You can also view this Community Crashing Troubleshooting Guide for crash related solutions
- You may also need to repair your system's files
To repair your system's files:
- Open the Command Prompt in administrator mode
- Type, "DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.
* Note: "DISM" stands for "Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool". It often repairs Microsoft related files, such as issues with Window apps. (Some problems with the next file checker can only be fixed after running this one first). - Now type, "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.
* Note: "sfc" stands for "System File Checker". This one will repair system files, (such as important Windows drivers). - Lastly, restart your PC.
If you are still unable to play the game, (and had gone through the steps above), please send a DxDiag log.
