do you know what GCE means?

Total guess here, but given the server locations and so on, EA/Respawn may use the same Data Centres (or indeed run servers) with Google Compute Engine - GCE. So it could be that.
I note there're no GCE nodes in Florida or Toronto, either. So it COULD be that? As I say, guess work.

Yes, all the servers labeled GCE are data centers from Google's infrastructure.
Rumor is they're pretty good servers to be on.

It is just a server that is hosted by google. I believe it stands for Google Connected Environment.

Yes they probably just need to enable servers in `us-west2`. https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/regions-zones/#available
This would make such a huge difference for the many californians playing. My lag is hit and miss, sometimes right around 30 and other games completely unplayable (warping / relooting stuff I already looted, rubber banding, etc.).

Google Compute Engine. I'm pretty sure google provides them cloud services (datacenters)
