You are not dropping something. You are the one who is dropping. Your analogy makes no sense.
You drop where it is hot.
1 is called dropping hot, not hot dropping.
Speaking of hot dropping I had a game yesterday where we hot dropped in Estates ... only to be the only ones to drop there. The LL was SO disgusted that we had dropped there and there was no one there to fight she quit!
We (me and Mirage) spent ten minutes looting and generally mucking about before the ring pushed up out. We eventually wiped another squad easily then it was Us v Them. I got downed but Mirage killed the other squad (of two) for the win!
