How’s the matchmaking recently?
People are reporting that they’re having more balanced matches today. This comes after Sammy Duc said that they’re making MM changes in December. So did you notice any difference today?

So I’m gonna ask again if these graphs (image below) reflect your recent games? I haven’t played properly for more than 2 weeks now only doing challenges in no fill and then quitting. From time to time I do the GamingMerchant thing of 1v3’ing noob squads since the game now thinks I’m now below average. LOL.
Glad that they communicated this through their official twitter profile and not through a dev that only a few follow. Respawn communication starting good this year (but I’ll still call you out every time you put forced bundles in the store).
Blog post about the MM might come with the collection event patch notes which will most probably release on Thursday or Friday.I played a rare solo q session a couple days ago, and I feel like i may have seen the results. My team mates were not blithering idiots. Just mild idiots like myself. It was a pleasant session.
- @pandareno1999 What region are you in/ what servers are you on? I am on the Oregon servers.
- @Cheese9Man I experienced an uptick in my kill count, I had two games yesterday (out of three) where I got six kills with teammates of reasonable intelligence.
- @Cheese9Man it is still horrible! 187 lvl, 550dmg, 1.5k/d and i am always killed with a master dude (or pred). Last game my team 402, 187, 18 lvl, champ team all masters...
How is this better MM????- @gokuzmaj It’s only in one region as of now as far as we know.
- @Cheese9Man Which region is the test region? For me the MM has been exactly the same. With a friend everyone in the lobby has a trail but me and our 3rd who is a genuine noob every time. No fill it treats me like I'm in a 3 stack. Just last night I was viciously murdered my a master club 3 stack. 🤣
- @hayhor Sammy Duc said he won’t mention which region. The graph is kinda vague as well as there are no y-axis values. Increasing line graphs are good I guess. Stonks!
How about everyone’s queue times? I assume if the SBMM is no stricter (you are against similarly skilled players) then the queue times would slightly be longer?Also got me thinking, if players are getting more kills, does that mean players are getting more deaths as well or am I missing something here?
- @Cheese9Man No change here. Still garbage. I play Dallas and Salt Lake City servers mostly.
- @Cheese9Man Too little to late. Already uninstalled. Back to single player video game fun land. Currently enjoying DooM Eternal campaign and just watching here for any news on single player Apex or Titanfall content or lore.

Context of the joke: People keep asking him to fix SBMM and the servers even though he only works on animations for the game.
- @Cheese9Man How long was the animations team working on the new healing and shield charging animations to enable stickers? A year or more probably.
