How about everyone’s queue times? I assume if the SBMM is no stricter (you are against similarly skilled players) then the queue times would slightly be longer?
Also got me thinking, if players are getting more kills, does that mean players are getting more deaths as well or am I missing something here?
- hayhor3 years agoHero@Cheese9Man Yeah I wondered what the Y axis was. Is it .1 kills per division or .25 or .5 or what?
And yeah someone has to die each time someone kills. So does this mean the players at the top are suffering more? Meaning the 4 kd players are only getting 2 or 3 and the .5 kd players are getting 1.5? - HappyHourSumwur3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@Cheese9ManThe number of kills at the macro level should be close to the number of deaths. Killing yourself in ranked would be the difference. But the graph doesn't mean the total necessarily goes up.
5 no kill games followed by a 6 kill game gets you 1 kill per match average. A 2 kill game every other game does, too. They feel VERY different to me, especially of you die in the first case immediately with no chance. How I get killed really matters to me in Apex. Getting steamrolled repeatedly is not fun. Fighting when I feel like I have a chance is a fun challenge.
What I hope it means is that the SBMM is reaching more quickly to zero kill streaks. Now I can go 10 matches with maybe 2 or 3 kills total and MM doesn't feel any different.
PS-Solo queue feels different but premade matchmaking is exactly the same. Low level premades are still getting repeatedly put up against Diamond/Masters 3 stacks.- Kyldenar3 years agoSeasoned Ace
Think it's still too little too late. I am not the only player I know that recently uninstalled and walked away.
