@sTeAmAAAAAAA I would like to know too. It would be nice to know why they can't make a single or duo mode permanent. My thoughts are is that they're scared. Scared that if they change the way they wanted this game to be then the dream and fulfillment will be gone. It seems like they're forcing people to play a certain way. But with how many people play games only a certain percentage will bend to this will. The rest will be left frustrated and eventually leave. Now making a once great title nothing more than a footnote, All you'll hear is, "remember Apex legends that was a good game but such and such just ruined it". This is the future if they don't acknowledge what the primary base is saying. I understand there are plans for things. But such as life plans change. If you meaning them, don't learn to adapt and deem themselves too great for such a thing they will reap the rewards of arrogance. Now die hard fans will be quick to argue. But die hard fans alone cannot fund such an enterprise. If monetary gain is the outcome for putting time and effort into such an title then they have to read the crowd. It's almost like a DJ in a sense. When the DJ plays music, especially ones they like and the crowd at the time doesn't appreciate it the DJ must be able to read that and move on. If the DJ is too arrogant in thinking what the crowd should like and continues on they will be left with an empty venue. Now duos or solos are not really my thing but I could see myself playing them time to time. So it really wouldn't hurt to have them placed in. It would still be a battle royal game just not forced pairing. All in all the ball is ultimately in their court. How they choose to use that will decide what will and will not happen.
Half the games you get chucked into are solo or duo anyway with the sheer amount of disconnects. 🤓
