@DarthValtrex @EA_David Thanks you guys for the help. I would rather have an email saying I cannot gain a code rather than nothing. But that's just my preference.
I have been trying since very early this year, I sent my first email in January, to which they did not respond. Proofread everything I wrote and made it have more of a professional tone, still nothing. After 8 emails sent from 8 different email addresses, I finally got an email saying I was approved yesterday, from my most recent email which I sent 3 weeks ago.
From my experience here are some key points they are looking for.
Your proposal MUST be referred to as a TOURNAMENT, and you MUST create a clear concise game plan for said tournament. If you call it scrims, a league, or especially if you just say you want to play on it with friends, they will ignore you.
From what I understand these codes only last anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks, and then they will go inactive. You MUST designate an EXACT few days of the year for your “tournament” and provide that to them.
Lastly, they are very strict about you not making money off this, or ruining EAs reputation by doing something illegal or against the rules and saying they were involved or endorsing your “event”.
I was very happy to get a response back finally from EA after all of this, but with the many hoops I had to jump through, and how I have been told they are not permanent codes, I don’t think it would be worth doing again. That being said I genuinely hope you get a response and are able to achieve what you are trying to do.
