How can i turn of auto punch in Apex Legends

I cant find a way to turn of auto punch in Apex Legends!! If they were close enough for me to actually get damage on them itll be different but i lose alot of games due to this. Playing on Xbox One

    @BLACCK68 There is no auto punch, it’s just people accidentally hitting the wrong button, but it may have been a bug at the time, you might want to change your button layout.

@BLACCK68 There is no auto punch, it’s just people accidentally hitting the wrong button, but it may have been a bug at the time, you might want to change your button layout.
