As the title says, I need tips on aiming. Btw I’m the level 70 not hitting any of the targets. 🙂

@TreemanXD What all my friends have done is turn sensitivity down until it is just fast enough to keep up with someone running across your screen at mid range once you get comfortable there you slowly raise sensitivity and when I say slowly I mean this process can take weeks hope this helps but other people say start high and wait for muscle memory to take over but that has never worked for me good luck

@TreemanXD Identify your weakest part of the aiming process by watching replays of yourself if you really want.

Try and be as brutally critical of yourself as possible. If you're not hitting headshots but hitting bodyshots - you know you have to consciously break your pattern and start aiming higher up than you feel naturally inclined to do.

If you're not hitting body shots establish whether you're accurate but too slow to get there so you die fast, or if you're overshooting when aiming it might be an indicator that your sensitivity is too high.

Get some demos collected and have a watch, if you can't clearly identify the weakest part of your game I'm sure people on the forum will help.

Simple tips that veteran shooters like myself tend to forget:
1. Focus more on the players movement than your crossair
2. Move with the player like ur dancing with him
3. Steady stiff thumbs...
As for sensitivity just use default you dont need higher sensitivity to win. Its too muchh of a pain cuz its dif in every game

@TreemanXDJust use brains when u shoot. I mean rly, start to think when you shoot some1, not look at monitor and point mouse somewhere, so you will see some magic 🙂

If you go into training mode, and pick your preferred weapons you can then shoot at the rocks just below the targets.
If you do this you'll see the recoil pattern of the weapon. These recoil patterns are fixed on apex so all you need to do is gently adjust your aim to compensate for this. Turning down sensitivity as stated is a huge help to this otherwise any adjustment you make will be too harsh and you'll just screw up your aim. 😛
You'll also have to account for bullet travel etc when shooting over distance, but thats more of an experience thing you pick up over time.
Finally obvious but often overlooked, use the right tool for the job. No point using a sniper for CQC unless you've got seriously on point aim....just as you wouldnt try to crossmap a player woth a shotgun. XD

Elaborated: know your weapon, get a feel for it and afterwards do target practice
