How do I unlink an old EA account that I can’t access from my Xbox account

I made a new EA account to link my Xbox account to but an old, inaccessible account is linked to it. How do I unlink it

Sorry to say @SpaceCapt89 but there is nothing we can do in relation to account based issues. You will need to speak with our live support.

Can I ask what happens when you try to get in contact, what exactly is stopping you? Do you see an error of any kind?

It would say in the chat room, estimated wait time is like 10-20 minutes but I’d wait up to hours with no luck.
