How does ALGS prevent participants from using macros?
Since EAC can’t detect macros, how do they make sure there are no players using rapidfire and no-recoil macros in the online tournament?

@DeathRaven_1983I'm just guessing, Down load the macro and time the fire rate of the macro.. Have their server watch for players who match that fire rate..
Example, the right macro turns a Hemlock into full auto. They could run numerous examples with it and time the macro. If the player matches it flag the account and have someone review it.
Another way, let's say you have a hemlock in single fire and use a macro to automatically spam fire it. your fire rate will always be identical. Especially when it comes to the delay or lack there of between shots. If you're not using a macro the time between shots will not always be identical there would be slight variations. Let's say on average it takes you .2 seconds to press the fire button.. But in reality it would probably range between .18 seconds and .22 seconds. Macro would make that identical meaning every time they fire it would be the same.
basically if it were me, I would just analyze the macros and look for similarities that pop up. When I find similarities create an algorithm that looks for that and flags the individual account.@DarthValtrexIf what you said is true, Respawn should extend that system to all platforms. Because at least 60% of PS4 players in Platinum in my region use them.
- @DeathRaven_1983 What guns are you seeing it on? I don't run one and play on xbox a lot, I can fire most of the semi autos really fast. The only one I slow down a bit with is the wingman because of its recoil.
@DarthValtrexG7 with mid-range sights. They are able to down a purple shielded player within 1.5 seconds form 200m away. Normally, If you don’t get into cover within 1 seconds after getting shot, you’ll be dead.

- @DeathRaven_1983 Is it the same player doing all the damage? I can kill people in 3-4 shots with a G7. Mid range scopes are all I use on any sniping type gun. Typically a 3x or 2x-4x. 200M is a bit on the long range side of things with a G7 especially with a 4x but I can definitely drop lower skilled players at that range with one.
When I play with my main friends, we have system when we snipe. We all target the same player and call out shots. So you'll get dropped almost instantly unless one of us misses a shot... - @DarthValtrex Of course the same player. Give JP server a try if you want to see them in action.
@DeathRaven_1983I'll try, I'm not sure what the lag will be like. Can you try and get some videos of it for us? if you do, please blur their names. EA does not allow shaming of other gamers.. But I'd be curious to see your specific situation.
Yeaah, you can spot the macros on ps4. Usually most easily spotted on hemlok g7 and p2020.
I've seen a p20 user fire out 18 shots far quicker than should be possible. I acknowledge some people are using controllers where the trigger button is basically a mouse button, hence the higher fire rate, but on a normal controller a p20 cant be fired at such speed even with full trigger sensitivity,i've spent hours in total attempting this in the firing range. At best you can shoot slightly faster than an alternator.
- @DeathRaven_1983 A game I work on we actually can detect G1 key macros and mouse macros. Dont know what they doing wrong but easily done.
I bought a MG65 mouse from game stop comes find out it has a huge double click issue random times. What sucks when firing p2020 at times that mofo will double tap. They just need to add better delays between fire rates forcing it to not allow firing if delay has not been met.
