Load into arenas as a duo. Normally I would have just left but because it was arenas I figured why not. Up pops enemy team and it is a single. 20 seconds into round one the single quits the game. We were forced to start the next two rounds and wait 20 seconds or so for the wins. 🤣
The mode feels so basic and bare-bones but I can definitely see the potential in it. They should add different modes in it and just your simple death match.
A multi team format would be nice.
4 squads as opposed to mirages clusterfudge 3 squad layout though....to avoid the whole chess game of who will be the third party. x.x
Played 10 games, 8 wins. Total 2 hours playtime.
Loaded into one game as a solo(so I quit) but rest all the games had full squads on both sides. Nobody quit to my surprise. 😃
I am enjoying it a lot. It needs some QoL features ASAP, but on the surface it's very well done.

While I would never want anyone to feel frustrated or unhappy with a game they invest time into, I am glad that I'm not alone in this feeling.
Honestly, you look on some places like Twitter, and you swear some people treat Arenas like it's the second coming of Christ. And, If you dare say anything bad about it, you're a heathen.
I'm just not having fun with it. For reasons that I've listed far too many times today. I hate to say it, but as it stands right now, it is the worst mode I've ever played in Apex. It may not be the buggiest mode or the glitchiest mode. But it's the worst in terms of what the core gameplay is supposed to be.
