Happened twice to me this past weekend. One guy was afk and disconnected and one disconnected before character selection. No rp forgiveness on either one unfortunately. And I don’t record so I have no way to prove it to respawn but it does happen :/
sorry for my late response, yes it did happen i lost 36 points when one of our team mates did not join at all. On character selection, third person was missing. I know if i leave the game i will get punished. So i played until both of us died and i still lost 36 points. If i encounter it again i will record it as video.
Looks like stuff is happening from time to time. Looks like developers can't save us from having to launch solo or in twos.
When this happens (and it did several times in the last days), it's time for me to change tactics in game. If I want to preserve my points, I make it a sneaking match. Which works well. If I don't care for my points, I hot drop to end this fast.
I accept missing team mates as a challenge.
(To be fair, atm, it's only 12 points on the line for me, not 36.)
