how old do you have to be for algs

I'm 15 do I need to wait till I'm 16 to compete or can I have a guardian.

Competitors for ALGS must be:
- 18 years or older if from Russia or South Korea
- 17 years or older if from Japan
- 16 years or older for everybody else
I believe yes, a guardian for live events is required if you're younger than the age expected but due to social distancing, I have no idea how this will work. Hopefully an EA Community Manager can solve that part of the puzzle. :D

So you can play if you are 14 and younger right? If you have your legal guardan there

  No. The minimum ages are listed right above your post. Someone aged 16-18 from the US could play if they have a guardian present.

  See screenshot from official rules. The wording might be a bit confusing, but for example in the US, you must be 16 years old minimum. Players under the age of majority (18yo in the US) must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. They must still meet the minimum age requirement of at least 16 years old, though.
