How to check if someone is cheating/hacking?

Hello,

Lately I found out my discord group have a high potential cheater, but we dont have solid evidence on him. He changed his account last week ago, the reason he said that he is changing to a new account to buy new packs. He has been not doing great since the day I had played with him, but lately he land his wingman shot is like crazy, clutch like crazy. Of course I do hope he is improving in his gameplay so that he can enjoyed this game. Just there is few games that he out performed some of our great players in a sudden. Getting from Plat to Diamond in 2 to 3 days. We wanted to ban and kick him from our discord as we have zero tolerance for cheater and hacker policy in the discord. Thanks in advance.

    Without a video of their gameplay, it's hard to really say if they're cheating or not. Maybe they did improve to the point they can beat out other players, maybe they are cheating. I can't really give criteria either, because it'll always fall back to, "Maybe they aren't cheating, and if they aren't, you just booted someone out for no reason." 

    Was this like a very gradual improvement, like you played with them a month ago and they were terrible, and now they're really super good at the game? Or was this a sudden change, like a week ago they were garbage, and now they're making diamond plays?

    @Dom890130 I don't know if that means he's cheating...

    The wingman is an odd gun, for some people it just suddenly clicks and starts to work for them. When someone figures it out, they typically start posting some fairly crazy numbers.

    I was starting to get the hang of it in Season 6. Season 7 drops and I really figured it out, posted a 3k damage round with it.

    So that might be what's happening. If you end up dying and can spectate him then do it.. or maybe just watch his stream.

    That's not to say he won't have some crazy plays with it. He might land 4-5 headshots in a row with it and be on point. But there will be times in which he's missing some shots.

    If you suspect someone of cheating, just report the account.
    If the user isn't cheating nothing will happen, if the user is cheating oh well his accounts will get locked. 😛

    When in doubt just report and move on, better safe than sorry
