Keep playing. Recoil control will become second nature to you until you reach the point where you don't notice it.
Firing guns in Apex is a three step process. Aim (so you hit your targets), Move (so you are less likely to get hit) and Control (so the recoil does not throw off your aim). You won't always get it right but the more you play, the greater the chance that you will.
Yeah I have a PS4 friend tried playing with him last week - we got farmed. Whenever I see an enemy I know they're there and try shooting them but recoil messes up my aim. I think in Overwatch, the other game I play regularly I played the character who has recoil (soldier) and I don't have problems. I think i'll go in the practice range before I go on today and hopefully get at least a kill in pubs, that's the state of play here 🙂
