@Jinnobi If they boost the damage of the gas, it has to be some what easy to avoid.. sort of like gibis bombardment is easy to run out of. Bangs is easy to time, you just pull back a bit, let it hit in front of you, then rush forward.
I think the general idea for this game, is that guns do the killing.
Bang is all about confusing the enemy and disorientation..

caustic is supposed to be a fortification legend sort of like Wattson. But I agree he often falls short. It’s just how to buff him with out making him OP? Some of that is because people don’t know how to play him, but a lot of it is his abilities are only useful in very rare situations. Situations such as camping a building, throwing down a trap and setting it off so you can revive teammates, buying time to pop a battery/phoenix kit..

@DarthValtrex Not boost his ult only the traps, good caustic use traps to lockdown, shutting of areas and ground 1 of buildings his ult is more for confined spaces or pushing last circles

Caustic is a bit underpowered.
Few things.
1. Caustic shouldn’t really share what enemies are in his gas with his teammates. It’s probably just that Caustic is supposed to see much clearer through his gas, which is probably why it’s only him.
I’m not fully against this, but I have some doubts.2. His gas doesn’t really need much of a damage increase. It is already kind of similar to Gibraltar’s ult, if someone decides not to avoid it they’ll suffer a lot of damage. I’m thinking that the damage cap should be raised, although not too much. Not necessarily a straight up damage buff, but it would still function.
3. It’s not great that his gas affects teammates, but I do see what BillyCrash100 is saying. Caustic’s gas gives a big advantage to Caustic, and if some of your teammates also get the advantage, it can be a little too op. This is similar to how Crypto’s emp still affects himself, in order to balance out the big advantage it gives to his team. I’m not saying that they shouldn’t reduce some of the debuffs, but they also shouldn’t reduce it too much.
4. Yeah, Caustic doesn’t really have much of a fortification thing, but he basically has a Bangalore smoke that he can see through and it does damage. It would be a great idea to buff the aoe, but at some point he will be basically a better Bangalore. (In terms of gas.)5. His gas traps are easy to shoot, in some situations. They can also be difficult to shoot in others. Instead of increasing it’s health, maybe change the hitbox of where you can shoot it so that it is a little more difficult.
