How to survive in Apex

Many engagements have varying chances of survival in Apex, here i will share some info you might find useful.

1: The Drop.

Where you drop can greatly affects the chances of survival, if you dropped in a hotzone the chances of survival are low and depending on how many players and what loot you get can further reduce your chances. (its easy to run out of ammo fast or have no weapon at all)

To improve your chances pick and area not commonly chosen, far out location from the dropship or a small building complex outside the main area.

This would kill the first 5 to 9 squads in a match.

2: The Encounter.

An encounter conflict is a random encounter while looting after the drop period, apart from skill this fight would depend on who has the better kit at this moment.

If you believe you don't have the right kit to fight someone then avoid the fight.

Blue tier armor and kit would give you a 50/50 chance but if your lucky to get higher then your chances will increase.

This would take out the next couple of squads leaving around 6 squads left.

3: The Long Stretch.

In the last few squads players will listen for gunfire and go for the engage, at this point you want to avoid being early as this will take a toll on your resources and potentially ambush your squad from another enemy squad.

You have to think "Do i have enough resources to fight x amount of squads one after the other?"

(i usually deduct 2 squads of whats remaining as they can be solo or dual squads which usually don't engage till the end)

4: End Game.

In the last final squads its advised to stay close to your squad, in this part of the match you don't want to die because you have 0 chance of being revived.

Picking off anyone who is out of position from the enemy squad would give you the chance to swing the match in your favor.

Supply ships: (Squad Magnets)

They are Squad magnets you want to be in and out of there as fast as possible A.S.A.P. You can't stick around deciding on what weapon you want you will get ambushed!

Dual squads: (The Ghosts of Apex)

Keep moving and don't stop, avoid conflict when possible.

You have to play smart, only engage at End Game during a fire fight.

Movement is key. Target a out of position enemy, once killed then disengage.

chip away at the enemy till you can turn the odds in your favour.

Mobility is key.
