I have tested among Warzone, Fortnite and Apex, Apex got trash servers

From middle-east, Warzone: 90-95 with almost zero PL (my PC can't handle it, very low fps but stayed in games to check servers) also asked friends living close to me. Same results.

Fortnite: 50-60, no PL at all. Apex: On Bahrain servers, 50-130 with lots of PL even if population is very low compare to the other 2 games. EU server are all trash, PL almost every day, ping 120 to 500 MS ping. Conclusion is simple EA your servers are trash and you are awful at publishing Apex.

  • It's def the servers on my end. I've played in other countries where I have 200+ ping & a few months ago there were no issues. Past few days I can play on a server with 60ish ping & I'm getting little glitches here & there messinng up my shots. If I try playing in another country now it's even worse. I'm almost curious how it would run if I was wired. But I have a feeling I'd still have issues.

@KelRiever I have as many connection issues in one 3 hour session of warzone than I do in 20 hours of apex. And this is with playing apex on another continents servers for half that time whereas warzone is local.
  • @hayhor  Well, you know, everybody's situation is different too.  TBH I won't defend Warzone too much, but I also want to say they punch over their weight as a game.  And, I think it's pretty clear from volume of complaints that Apex has bad servers.  Also, again, Apex does give you a good idea of when it is them, and when it is you.  Warzone doesn't.

Obviously, with all its warts, I'm still playing Apex as my game of choice.  I think Fortnite is okay, and does many, many things correctly. I approve of Warzone.  But I play Apex, even though it has terrible servers and even though I will leave games without shame (YOU KNOW ME HAYHOR, YOU KNOW ME!) :D

@KelRiever You also are comparing a company of 15+ years of building FPS shooters with more then triple the work staff apex has. Comparing games to another just wont do any good. All operate and do things differently. All have xxx amount staff while the other has xx amount. But comparing a game company who has a lot more staff and well over 15 years in experience in this field is not a good way to go about things imo.

@NaRnIaaa I'd argue that COD is a lot easier to play. The learning curve is basic compared to Apex. And it's probably more of a well known name. The fact that it's more players in a match and has quads probably helps too.
  • @WreckingVi My experience so far is that there are games where my connection would be great(no issues) and then there would also be games where I would have connection issues through out the whole game. I also have something that constantly checks my connection status so I know if it's on my side and I would see no issues there.
