Just played a wildcard game. My character announces I killed two enemies. Second time my kill count doesn’t go up. This is why I can’t rank up past gold. I’m not good enough to get enough kills so that the accounting errors in the system don’t stop me. I’ll post the video if it makes a difference I have a decision to make whether this is worth playing anymore.

Twoheart1 A video would help Respawn determine if its a bug or not, so yes, I'd say it would make a difference.
I heard they no longer give RP for killing the same player because there was this point leech where players would kill and revive to get RP.

I just played a ranked game and god a kill to death box. At the and of the game it says I had zero kills and I was cheated out of rank points.

i played wildcard with a duo that landed us in a spot to kill farm their buddies. I called them out and they called me a bunch of slurs, but they were blatently farming
Yoko-Ono-U-Didnt Hopefully any report you've made against them leads to a ban as both the farming and the slurs are not okay.
I also recommend removing those types of players from your friends list to avoid playing with them as EA/Respawn do issue bans to players who are actively playing with cheaters, exploiters, and the like.

No matter, I’ve feared this was happening for quite a while along with **bleep** registration issues, and the videos are proving it. I don’t see how I can keep playing apex.
I didn’t mean to imply it was the same enemy both times. But I can’t swear it was two different ones though it happened many minutes apart. Either way, if Apex is creative it finding ways to reduce players accomplishments, then this is worse than I thought.
