I just uninstalled Apex
Every single one of my friends quit this game recently. And the reason for it is broadly the same. This game isn't even "playable" Anyone logging on to Apex will casually find themselves spending 45...

Are you pro SBMM, or at least the current state of SBMM for Apex?
I bring up SBMM because it’s come up in this thread, and subjectively speaking, its something that has me close to “uninstalling apex” as the thread is titled. I won’t speak for everyone, but my public lobbies consist of a majority of Diamond and Predator contrails. Even if I am that caliber of player, its stressful if I’m only ever playing people of that skill level; I literally can’t make a mistake or I’m dead. It’s a tiring scenario.
How is that even possible when there are only a few thousand predators world wide across all platforms?
Even PS4 needs to fill spots with platinum players for ranked matches. I don't understand how it's even statistically a possibility to have majority Dia/Pred player games, every single game when those players are only 2.3% of the player population for those two ranks combined.

I think you are absolutely right! Its statistically not possible and it is not happening in reality!
I only would be convinced if there are real gathered data, but this is difficult to do:
It is pretty hard to spot and analyse all contrails in a match!
And you had to write your result down and get results of at least 20 matches in a row!
And you had to repeat this at least for 1 week every day at 3 different times...
You should also note the stats of the champion team and the team that killed you.
Again you need to do this for 20 matches in a row, 3 times a day, 7 days in a row.
And you might need to get more data for the weekends.
Maybe if you have ALL THIS data you can caculate some more reliable statistics.
But do not wonder if the confidence intervalls / standard deviation is too big to get a technicallly valid result.
Sadly, there are many threads against SBMM where this doubtable statements about contrails and rank of the teams are spreaded...
AGAIN MORE INFORMATION FROM EA AND RESPAWN ABOUT SBMM, CACULATION AND SOME STATISTICS WOULD BE GREAT!
