i just went from 1.5 k/d to .5

Amazing.

I just went form 1.5 K/D approximately past season to .5 this season.

I am not sure what has changed, but something must have. More hit registration issues? More cheaters? I am just playing Ranked, and I am in bronze. There should only be people as good as I at best, in bronze IV.

And yet... 27 deaths and 15 kills so far. (and 19 knockdowns if it matters at all)

@VdstrkRight now you have people that relegated from gold playing in bronze. But still if you really had a 1.5 KD last season you shouldnt be having trouble even with gold relegated players.

I'm having an abnormally hard time.... I blame it on the game, but to be fair I do not really know why I'm doing so bad.....
I've only played pubs past season but I had over 2000 kills, 94 wins, and 450+ top 5s for whatever it is worth it.

Either that, or I'll bounce out! and close it once and for all with Apex. Or with gaming at all... maybe I'm not meant to play shooters at all... who knows it.

@Vdstrk Odd. My KD went up from .5 to .8 lol. Not that I care. I only noticed it when looking at how many wins I had. Then I realized I had a positive KD playing Valkyrie. I'm very used to her style having played a lot of Pharah in Overwatch

@Vdstrk This is very common at the start of every season. I am currently at 0.5 after 7 games in BR. Hot drops and all. It will level out in a bit.

I play wraith. I am not sure if the removal of low frame is affecting her performance, or if she still takes 5% more damage and they forgot to re balance her, or whatever changes they made to her.

Overall I they have been adding legends lately that more fit the style of what I'm used to playing in other action games and how I like to play. I'm good with Valkyrie, Fuse, and Rampart. Horizon I did extremely well with immediately. I'm pretty sure I'd have a great KD with her, but I didn't play much in Season 7 and then Fuse showed up.

Like others have said, it will even out. My stats generally struggle until I get used to how new modes or new maps flow.

Its probably normal due to rank reset... I'm playing now as a silver 2(deranked from Platinum IV), and its terrible - as always.🙌 I hit diamond before the split last season, but in most cases people won't listen to me and its impossible to do everything alone.🤨 In gold you can have some fun, and people are more cooperative.
Change of the map also has its influence, i wasn't playing in world's edge for a long time.

That is definitely a possibility.. I believe that rank reset is more of a damage for lower ranked players like me than a benefit for top tear players.
