I keep getting one shot by the pks

@Vdstrk  I've got a lot of experience in being melted by this gun so perhaps I can offer some advice lol.

The obvious one being try and keep some distance between you and the pk user when possible. you'll force them to charge fire or switch weapons.

Secondly if you're caught in a battle with a peek shooting pk user, try not to simply peek back at them...they're anticipating this.

Slide to shots, jumpslides, wall jumps....anything you can use to force that player not to just sit pre aiming at where they know you'll peek from is going to force them to adjust their aim...which is more likely to turn the fight to your advantage due to the PK's firerate. This generally works for any opponents pre aiming though....regardless of weapon choice.

Idk how long you've been playing but if you're a more recent player consider yourself lucky you didn't face the Pk of old. There was an old buff that got reverted where they made each pellet thicker, the PK outperformed most close-mid range weapons. I actually pulled off a 200m kill with one back then.....yes a 200m kill with a shotgun lol.

It was a problem back then IMO, and I find it op now as well. Since it just dropped many people use it, and that is probably why i keep getting deleted by it.

200m kill is impressive with a shotgun lol.

Yes, I did try it, and use it if nothing is available to me. The very first time I used it I did eliminate a full team, 3 shots clean. They were already engaged by my team, and took some damage prior being shot with the pk.
It mostly is a timing (maybe positioning) issue, for sure. IMO it hits too hard, and maybe as someone else said in another thread, spread may be on the op side.
The problem is that at close range there is not much of a fighting chance... from my experience, because when fights get at the close range is because either someone on the team is down, or they already did enough damage to allow for a push. But... and here is my thought, IF the pk can be trusted to do 100 damage, then a push may be happening earlier than if they had an EVA-8 where they can count at most on 69 damage.
The difference is 1 shot vs 2 shots, upon a push.So, If I break someone's vest, or very close to it, it more likely is a one shot deal with the pk. It would be 2 with the EVA, the Masatiff, and probably also with the Mozambique.
