I love everything in season 10! best season ever!

Finally we have a great game! All characters are strong and fun to play, not just a few. There are many good weapons and everyone can take different guns, instead of only finding just R301, R99, Eva8 in boxes. It's so fun to play, soooo fun! Seer showed legends with no mobility can also be playable, Prowler, better hemlock, better wingman, even L-star is good now! I only missed hammer point hop up! you can new fight back with any guns! I love this season! Both casual and Ranked, Battle royal and Arena feels fresh with new changes and balances. Well done Apex

  • I hope that this isn't a sarcastic post. Here's my initial impressions of the season after using my day-off to play apex.

    Legends

"All characters are strong and fun to play, not just a few"

You forgot to mention Wattson and Crypto. Other than those missing buffs, the other legends feel fine I guess. I have yet to use Caustic. Seer is a bit too OP but I guess this was intentional like what they did to Horizon in S7. They can easily nerf him by removing one-by-one the damage, the flash, or interrupt of his tactical. The ultimate is really good but not OP.

    Guns

I agree that the guns feel okay and balanced right now. The Rampage LMG can be devestating with a thermite but the normal mode is balanced. I still haven't used the CP spitfire and alternator in-game but they're uber strong in the firing range. This might be the strongest set of CP weapons ever. I really love the prowler being ground loot again.

    Map

I love it! I love all the map changes but people still drop at fragment which is sad. I've been crying in this forum for Respawn for multiple seasons now to rotate all 3 maps and we're finally getting that next week if the datamined stuff comes true.

    Arenas

MM still sucks. When I get a level 50 teammate, I pray that the guy is a smurf but nope it's a real noob player. Still haven't touched ranked arenas.

    Ranked BR

Haven't touch this one yet. Gonna let the preds/masters/diamond climb up their ranks for a week then hopefully grind my way back to diamond IV.

    Conclusion

Overall, the content we got is enough for a minor season (remember that even numbered seasons are minor update seasons). Let us also not forget that there will be a Rampart town takeover mid September, Recolor event by the end of August, and the Halloween event just before the season ends on November 2. Of course I'm hyped for that new map coming on season 11. And give credit where credit is due, the servers did not die on day 1. I think they overhyped arenas in S9.

    @AlphabetsHow?

And as a Lifeline main I'm not sure if I'd agree with "all characters are strong and fun to play" at all. I'm sure I could get some Wattson mains onboard as well.

@CCbathwater Are really saying Lifeline is weak?
I’m afraid I can’t agree with you, I think Lifeline is pretty good in both battle royal and arena.
  • After a month, I still think this season is the best season since the release of Apex Legends, I only wished they didn't nerf Seer this much, I really liked it at first, I think he was the only legend without mobility abilities that was viable in all modes, now his play rate is going down, I see less and less Seer players around.
  • @Alphabets Not sure why I like this season as well. There's hardly any content other than the upcoming Sept 15 event. Probably due to my friends and I magically getting good this season. Other than that, we also started playing Splitgate. It's a really fun arena shooter. They said that it feels like Halo but none of us had played Halo before since no one buys an xbox where I live.

I got pretty discouraged by the end of S8 and only played a few dozen games S9.  Once Seer got neutered a bit, this season has been pretty pleasing for me. There's lots of terrible stuff, like arena MM, but I just avoid what I don't like.

  • Seer's nerf did nothing. And people think that seer isn't being used as much because of the nerf. I believe that biggest reasons people are not using seer as much has nothing to do with his nerf, but rather more to do with the fact that most people who choose a seer either have their random teammates back out or go off on their own...because lots of people do not want to win with a seer on their team. Any guess as to why.

Seer's tac and ult were never the problem to me, his passive is the main issue and the nerf did nothing to rectify that. Even BH's ult doesn't allow him to see enemies through buildings and walls, but seers PASSIVE does? Wtf.

Ive said it before and i'll say it again.... ppl who complain that seer's abilities are not good enough is a huge concern!!
