I might stop playing Apex for the rest of the season

@Cro_Pittt While this doesn't fix the issue and I actually agree that if you want them to change things you won't play, it is an option.

Use a second account and play ranked but play it without worrying about points. Drop with another team and take as many fights as you can from there. I've been playing ranked this way since rookie and I'm having a blast. I get continous fighting all game with an end game. The way pubs were in year one.
