Screens like this and an attitude like this just promotes the cult of 4k 20 bomb badgers in this community that a) does not show the actual skill of a player b) promote games where enemies are not equally matched be it smurfing or bad matchmaking or both as currently present in the game.
@Eshshshss I didn't quite catch your point about my post. I rarely play solo queue in this game and when I do, I always get bad teammates and that is not uncommon to all of us if you play pubs. It's impossible to communicate with these randoms since no one uses a mic in Japan and a lot of other asian countries also play in our servers (Koreans/Chinese/FIlipinos etc) with different languages. I just don't expect randoms to stick with the team in all team fights. And if ever the whole team got split up, the least that they can do is at least win their 1v1 hence the post. I'm not saying that 1v1 is better than true team play. No where in my post have I said to 1v1 everyone. These are pub games not the ALGS.

How did I just promote that by sharing games that I had fun in? I was not aware that the rare occurrence of having fun playing solo queue in this game can be so controversial and that promotes 4k 20 bomb "badger". Also there's nothing wrong with badges. You may use one or not. You do you.
- Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Cheese9Man I will repeat myself - in my opinion game where one team kills 25 people out of possible 57 = ~44% just shows the quality of the lobby = its bad.
Calling such game "an achievement", good game, one where you felt good or any other wording is basically flexing on pushing kids around and that way also promoting the thing people love the most in this community:
- kills
- badges
- sh on others
- kills and damage over the placement
Hope now the point is clear.- 4 years ago@Eshshshss Not to be that guy but you literally made a guide today telling people how to play, if they followed said guide then surely it's to get as good as cheeseman and his friends?
If not, you might as well delete it all and advise people to run the two worst guns in the game and try not to do well.- Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace@CAGOA34 not sure what you are talking about, I was about to post a guide/my experience in ranked but EA blocked that post marking it as a spam and still have not replied how to post it. But if it appears for you, great, good news.
Re: if they followed said guide then surely it's to get as good as cheeseman and his friends - A) guide is my experience so people following it might get as good as I am whatever that means, plus it is aimed not towards a certain "perfromance" level like number of kills, damage or level, rather getting a good, solid foundation that ranked players are requesting but many don't posses. B) I said multiple times that the post of Cheeseman does not indicate his skill level (at least to me) rather the fact that he likes, enjoys to slice through rather low skilled lobbies with his set squad or good randoms.

@Eshshshss If you say so chief. This made my morning. This is a perfect example of "You must be very fun at parties." ROFL! 😂😂😂😂😂
- Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Cheese9Man totally irrelevant argument.
Given we are not familiar it makes your post a 100% assumption with an aim to discredit my opinion about Apex via a random fact/guess about my personal trait.
There is a saying you should think about next time when posting such a thing "A million-dollar idea coming from homeless is still a million-dollar idea".
- 4 years ago@Eshshshss Oh yeah, I love kills/badges too. It's fun running around killing even if opponents aren't up to my skill level, the adrenaline rush is satisfying. If I am in Platinum lobbies I play it like it's supposed to, if it's silver/pubs I am not going to get 6 KP and rat in a corner or feel guilty for killing bad players.
If some people saw someone posting high dmg in a pub and then they went off to do the same in a diamond lobby and throw their game, it's on them. Bad players will be bad, can't control how everyone else acts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯- Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@BaldWraithSimpit's not about feeling bad or being able to get a high damage/kill game, my point was that you should not brag/flex about that fact because all you did is push some kids over in their playground.
We are all part of the community and people follow the example - if we post screens as Cheeseman did and brag about it, receive 100 likes for it bla bla bla community will follow because they see that other members appreciate it.
And then you get exactly what you said - people go into pubs, get games like that, and then join in "warmed up" to Platinum or Diamond lobbies with the same mentality and ruin someone's game because they are bad/can't play ranked with the same attitude.
Somehow people tend to contradict with themselves - they want to brag and flex about pub games, 4k and 20 bomb badges, yet at the same time they complain about brainless random players, people playing ranked the same way as pubs etc. Yes, what would you expect if you lead by such example? If Cheeseman would post a ranked game where he would have won the game with 5 kills in total <4k damage in total for the team, yet gained 100+ RP, my comments would not be present here and that would show in my opinion the real leadership this community needs.p.s. If you enjoy pushing kids around, in my opinion, you should ask yourself a question "what kind of person am I".
